Does PingAim work with Fall Guys?
Yes. PingAim uses a WFP (Windows Filtering Platform) kernel driver to route FallGuys_client.exe through your best available network connection. This operates at the Windows network stack level — no DLL injection, no process modification. Fall Guys uses EasyAntiCheat (EOS variant with a kernel driver), but WFP routing is transparent to EAC because it operates below the application layer. Simply add FallGuys_client.exe to PingAim and it will manage which network interface handles Fall Guys traffic.
Why do I rubber-band in Fall Guys even with decent internet?
Rubber-banding in Fall Guys has two causes: network latency (your ping to the server) and jitter (inconsistency in that ping). Fall Guys is server-authoritative — your position on the server is what counts. If your ping is fluctuating (e.g., jumping between 30ms and 150ms), the server receives your position updates out of sync and must snap your character to its authoritative position, creating visible rubber-banding. This is more common on WiFi, during peak hours, or when background applications are consuming bandwidth. A steady 60ms is far better than an erratic 20–100ms connection.
What ping is needed for Fall Guys?
Fall Guys is more forgiving than shooters. Under 80ms feels smooth and all platform timing works reliably. 80–150ms is playable — you may notice occasional rubber-banding in crowds but can still qualify consistently. Above 150ms, rubber-banding becomes frequent and close finishes often go against you as your screen position diverges from server reality. The game does not require the sub-30ms ping that competitive shooters benefit from, but consistent sub-80ms is the comfortable target.
Is Fall Guys still on Steam in 2026?
Fall Guys was removed from sale on Steam on June 21, 2022, when it went free-to-play on Epic Games Store. Players who purchased it on Steam before that date retain access and can still play through Steam. New players must download through the Epic Games Store. Both Steam (legacy) and Epic Games Store versions connect to the same Epic Online Services backend and the same dedicated servers, so there is no gameplay difference between them.
Does Fall Guys support crossplay and cross-progression?
Yes to both. Fall Guys has full cross-platform play between PC (Epic and legacy Steam), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile (Android/iOS). Cross-progression via Epic Games accounts was added in Season 6 — your Kudos, crowns, and cosmetics carry across all platforms. To enable cross-progression, link all your platform accounts to a single Epic Games account.
How do I check my ping in Fall Guys?
Press Alt+F6 during a match to toggle the network stats overlay, which shows your ping and packet loss in real time. If that shortcut does not work on your setup, use Windows Resource Monitor: open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → Performance → Open Resource Monitor → Network tab → check FallGuys_client.exe → look at the Latency column in TCP Connections. Some third-party tools like the fall_guys_ping_estimate tool (github.com/notatallshaw/fall_guys_ping_estimate) read the server IP from game logs and directly ping it for more accurate readings.
