Check Your Connection to Sea of Thieves Servers
See how much latency your ISP routing adds
Detecting your location...
Estimates based on real-time measurement to nearest Cloudflare edge. Actual in-game ping may differ by ~15ms due to different routing to game servers. Your IP is sent to ip-api.com for city-level location — we don't store it.
How to check your actual ping in Sea of Thieves
Settings → Interface tab → enable Performance Counters Small overlay appears in the corner of the screen showing FPS and current ping in milliseconds
A small HUD element shows your ping (ms) and frame rate. Ping spikes are visible as sudden jumps in the number during active gameplay. Note: this option is only available on PC — Xbox players do not have an in-game ping display.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing Sea of Thieves traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
Still lagging? Download PingAim and let it fix the route automatically.
