How to check your actual ping in Mortal Kombat 1
No built-in ping display in MK1 (unlike MK11 which showed rollback frames). Use Windows Task Manager > Performance > Ethernet/WiFi to monitor connection during play, or third-party tools like LatencyMon. No in-game network overlay available in MK1 as of Definitive Edition
No in-game overlay. MK11 had a rollback frame counter — MK1 removed it, which the competitive community criticized as reducing visibility into connection quality.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing Mortal Kombat 1 traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
