Will PingAim get me banned from FiveM?

No. FiveM's anti-cheat targets cheat injection tools, not network routing software. PingAim operates at the Windows network driver level (WFP), below the game process entirely. ExitLag and similar tools are widely used with FiveM without bans. PingAim is safer than those tools since it uses a kernel driver rather than user-mode packet manipulation.

Which FiveM processes should I add to PingAim?

Add both FiveM.exe and GTA5.exe. FiveM.exe handles the launcher, server browser, and resource downloads. GTA5.exe carries the actual gameplay UDP traffic. Routing both ensures complete coverage.

My ping is fine in other games but high in FiveM — why?

FiveM connects you directly to community-hosted servers whose datacenter may be far from Valve's or AWS's optimized infrastructure. Your ISP may route traffic to OVH or Hetzner (popular FiveM hosts) through inefficient paths. PingAim finds a better route by testing alternatives your ISP doesn't use.

Will PingAim fix rubber-banding and desync?

PingAim fixes rubber-banding caused by high latency and packet loss — the most common causes. If rubber-banding is caused by server-side performance issues (overloaded CPU, too many scripts), PingAim cannot help with that. The F8 console netgraph will show whether your issue is network (high ping/loss shown) or server-side.

PingAim detects FiveM automatically

No manual config. PingAim identifies FiveM by process name and routes it through your fastest connection using a kernel-level WFP driver.
