Check Your Connection to Dark Souls III Servers
See how much latency your ISP routing adds
Detecting your location...
Estimates based on real-time measurement to nearest Cloudflare edge. Actual in-game ping may differ by ~15ms due to different routing to game servers. Your IP is sent to ip-api.com for city-level location — we don't store it.
How to check your actual ping in Dark Souls III
No built-in command — use DS3ConnectionInfo (free third-party overlay) from github.com/tremwil/DS3ConnectionInfo DS3ConnectionInfo shows a separate window or overlay with real-time ping to each connected player (host, white/gold phantoms, red/purple invaders)
Green/yellow/red ping values per connected player; lower number = lower latency to that player
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing Dark Souls III traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
Still lagging? Download PingAim and let it fix the route automatically.
