Chicago, IL / Los Angeles, CA / Phoenix, AZ High population Primary Americas region. Chicago is the main datacenter hub. Los Angeles and Phoenix host additional realms. Australia realms opened Oct 2014.
Europe
Paris, France / Frankfurt, Germany High population European servers split between Paris and Frankfurt datacenters. Authentication servers in Paris IP range.
Korea
Seoul, South Korea Medium population Separate Korean region with its own servers and client. Managed by Blizzard Korea.
Taiwan / Southeast Asia
Taiwan Medium population Taiwan region covers Taiwan and surrounding Southeast Asian players.
China
Mainland China High population Operated by NetEase under license from Blizzard. Had a complete shutdown Jan 2023 after Blizzard-NetEase partnership ended; service resumed in 2024. 'Titan Reforged' Classic servers launched November 2025 exclusively for Chinese players.
Oceania
Sydney, Australia Low population Australian realms opened October 2014. Players in Oceania were previously routed to US-West servers with 200ms+ ping.
