Check Your Connection to Team Fortress 2 Servers
See how much latency your ISP routing adds
Detecting your location...
Estimates based on real-time measurement to nearest Cloudflare edge. Actual in-game ping may differ by ~15ms due to different routing to game servers. Your IP is sent to ip-api.com for city-level location — we don't store it.
How to check your actual ping in Team Fortress 2
Open developer console (backtick/tilde key ~), then type: net_graph 1 Bottom-right corner overlay showing ping (ms), choke, loss, and lerp values
Small white text overlay in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Shows 'ping: 45' in milliseconds. Also shows 'choke' (server queue backup) and 'loss' (packet loss percentage) — all three matter for TF2 connection quality.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing Team Fortress 2 traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
Still lagging? Download PingAim and let it fix the route automatically.
