How to check your actual ping in MapleStory
Hover your mouse cursor over your character name (IGN) at the bottom-left of the game screen — a tooltip pops up showing your current latency in milliseconds Bottom-left of the game screen — hover over your character's in-game name (IGN) to see the latency tooltip. The tooltip shows: Maple ID, World-Channel, IGN, and Latency (ms).
Hovering over the IGN text in the bottom-left corner shows a small pop-up box. The bottom line of the pop-up reads 'Latency: XX ms' where XX is your current ping to the game server.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing MapleStory traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
