Does PingAim work with Honor of Kings?

Yes, with some nuance. Honor of Kings is primarily a mobile game (Android/iOS). On mobile, PingAim works by routing your phone's game traffic through a tethered PC that selects the optimal network interface — for example, using 5G cellular instead of congested WiFi. On PC via GameLoop (Tencent's official emulator), PingAim's WFP driver routes the GameLoop.exe process through whichever of your PC's network interfaces has the lowest latency to the HoK server.

Why is my ping high in Honor of Kings even with fast WiFi?

Download speed and ping are different things. High ping means the route from your device to Tencent's server has too many hops or passes through a congested exchange point. A 100 Mbps WiFi connection can still deliver 80ms ping if your ISP routes poorly to the Singapore (SEA) or Brazil (LATAM) server. Meanwhile, 5G LTE on a direct carrier route can hit 20ms. Honor of Kings' built-in Network Optimization setting in Settings > Network tries to help — enable it first. If ping is still high, your ISP's path to the Tencent server is the problem.

What is a good ping for Honor of Kings?

Below 50ms is excellent — green indicator, full hero control, no noticeable input delay. This is what competitive players target. 50-100ms (yellow) is playable for casual matches but you will notice slight delays on skillshots and mobility abilities. Above 100ms (red) significantly impacts ranked play — hero controls feel sluggish, abilities miss more often, and team fight timing is harder to execute. KPL and regional esports players compete at sub-10-20ms.

Can I get banned for using a network optimizer in Honor of Kings?

No. Honor of Kings explicitly includes a built-in 'Network Optimization' feature in its Settings — Tencent's own acknowledgment that ISP routing matters. Third-party optimizers like LagoFast and GearUp Booster are widely used in the HoK community without bans. PingAim operates at the network routing level and never modifies the game client, memory, or files — ACE anti-cheat targets game integrity, not how your traffic is routed to Tencent's servers.

Why is my ping worse during evening hours in Honor of Kings?

Peak hours (7-10 PM local time) put maximum load on both your ISP's infrastructure and your shared household connection. Your WiFi is competing with smart TVs, tablets, and other phones all streaming simultaneously. The fix is to use a second, dedicated connection — 5G mobile data tethered via USB gives Honor of Kings its own path that is not affected by household streaming. That is what PingAim automates: it routes HoK through your best available connection at any moment, independently of what the rest of your network is doing.

I'm in the Philippines or Indonesia — why is my ping to the SEA server high?

The SEA server is in Singapore. Players in Philippine provinces (Mindanao, Visayas, Cebu) or eastern Indonesia (Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Papua) are geographically far from Singapore and depend on limited undersea cable capacity. Your ISP (PLDT, Globe, Telkomsel, Indosat) routes your packets through its own network nodes before reaching the Singapore exchange — if that routing is suboptimal or Tencent's peering with your carrier is congested, you get high ping regardless of your home speed. Mobile data on LTE or 5G sometimes provides a more direct route than home broadband, since mobile carriers have separate international backbone agreements.

PingAim detects Honor of Kings automatically

No manual config. PingAim identifies Honor of Kings by process name and routes it through your fastest connection using a kernel-level WFP driver.
