How to check your actual ping in Escape from Tarkov
Press ~ (tilde) to open console, type: fps 1 Top-left overlay shows FPS, RTT (ping), and frame timing. RTT value = your current ping in milliseconds. Also viewable in launcher server selection screen before raiding.
FPS 1 overlay: yellow/green numbers showing FPS count and RTT value in ms. RTT fluctuating = jitter. RTT climbing = route degradation.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing Escape from Tarkov traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
