How to check your actual ping in Don't Starve Together
In the server browser (Browse Games), the ping to each server is shown as a connection quality indicator (Good/OK/Bad) on the right side of each server entry before joining. In-game ping is not shown as a number by default — use the server browser before joining, or use external tools (ping command in CMD, Resource Monitor network tab) while in session. Server browser → server list → connection quality indicator on the right side of each entry
Server browser shows a colored connection quality bar (green = Good, yellow = OK, red = Bad) alongside each server entry. Hovering over a server may display the numeric ping depending on game version.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing Don't Starve Together traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
