How to check your actual ping in ARK: Survival Ascended
ARK: Survival Ascended does not have a native in-game ping display during gameplay. Ping is shown next to each server in the Server Browser before joining. During gameplay, use Windows Resource Monitor (resmon.exe → Network → TCP Connections → filter ArkAscended.exe) or Steam overlay network info. Server Browser (pre-join only). No in-gameplay ping display. The 'stat fps' console command shows FPS and frame timing only, not network ping.
Server Browser shows ping in ms next to each server name. During gameplay, no native network overlay is available — use external tools for latency monitoring.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing ARK: Survival Ascended traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
